Custom reports in BrizoSystem allow you to build tailored financial views beyond the standard P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports. With Custom Reports, you can design layouts, select periods, and include KPIs to match your reporting needs.
1. Accessing Custom Reports
From the left side navigation, click Reports
Select the Custom tab
Here, you’ll see any previously created custom reports
2. Creating a New Report
Click New Report
Enter a Report Title (e.g., “Q1 KPI Analysis” or “12-Month Profit Trend”)
Define the Reporting Period (see options below)
Add Rows to structure the report (see below)
Save the report — it will appear under the Custom Reports list
3. Reporting Period Options
You can configure a wide range of timeframes:
Fiscal Year (12 months) – shows the year broken into 12 months
Fiscal Year with Full Year – 12 months plus a yearly total column
Rolling Periods – Last 3, 6, 9, or 12 months
By Month – each month shown as a column
By Quarter – quarterly breakdowns
Custom Date Range – define your own start and end periods
etc
4. Report Row Types
When building a custom report, you can add rows of different types:
Label – add a text row for grouping or section titles
Account – include a specific chart of accounts item
Formula – create calculated rows (e.g., Gross Margin = Revenue – COGS)
Section – organize rows into expandable/collapsible groups
KPI – include key performance indicators tracked in BrizoSystem
5. Managing Custom Reports
Once created, reports will be listed under Reports → Custom
You can edit, duplicate, or delete reports anytime
Custom reports follow the same layout and drill-down capabilities as standard reports
